Trivia:

  • Certain re-releases of the album included the song Frozen. This version is different than the This Business of Art version and can be listened to below. The versions seem to be mostly the same with the biggest difference being the ending.

FrozenTegan and Sara
00:00 / 02:57
  • On the cover, Tegan is in purple and Sara is in red.

  • The beginning and end of the album have clips from a cassette tape recorded on a Fisher Price tape recorder they had when they were 3-4 years old. In the Under Feet Like Ours chapter of High School, it says that it is Sara speaking, though it is unclear if they know this for sure or simply guessed.

Sara: This is my tape recorder!

Sonia: Yeah, talk like that so when you're 18 and you're listening to this you can hear what a brat you were.

Sara: We just want to talk.

Sonia: Okay, say bye.

Sara: Bye!
