well, we have had a LOT of cranky email about aversion.com releasing the name of our new record and a tentative release date before us(the official website).

As you all know, it is increasingly difficult to keep information off the internet. We have not released information about our new record to the media, or on purpose to anyone. the record company and our mom has heard it. its good news when people care enough to talk about it three months before it might come out. we dont think its a bad thing!

because dates may change and we dont want to say anything until we are 100 percent sure we havent posted (until now).

so for those of you who feel that it is our responsibility to keep you informed, here is some information we know to be 100 percent true.

we are finished our new album.(it sounds great)

the flames are playing game three in the stanley cup finals tonight!(series tied 1-1)

SO JEALOUS is the name of our new record. no release dates are for sure.(september 14th....) we will release the album in canada and the US at the same time(we always do!)

We will post any news or tour dates as we have them and are CONFIDENT that they wont change.

the new album is produced by tegan and sara, with john collins, david carswell and howard redekopp.

tegan has a great new hair cut and i am still waiting for sun tanning weather!
