To all who visited and who will visit Thank you for a great year. This past year has been a very fun, funny and exciting year. From the first phone call from Ryan Adams as I was getting my hair dyed at Sara's to the first night of that tour we were off and rolling with 'if it was you'. Our first video shoot with Sean Turrel on this album was I hear noises. We took over the East End Cultural Center and with all of our friends and all the local bands we could find we shot a very fun and very 'phantom of the paradise' inspired video.

This was our first year with a band full time and I think all of us can agree that Rob Chursinoff and Chris Carlson were an added bonus and great sight to be seen. Both boys are full of great qualities and the two most prominent are patience and caring. They both helped out so much this year and kept Sara and I company and taken care of.

There are too many people to thank and too many stories to tell but we just want to extend a thank you to those of you who bought the record, came to the shows, bought t-shirts and pins and posters. Who cheered us on, who heckled and love us back. Who kept us company for hundreds of dates this year and the last few as well.

To ben folds, hot hot heat and ryan adams thanks for taking us on the road and letting us play for your audiences. To all the bands who supported us, there are too many to name, so thank you to all of you and good luck. To our labels here in Canada and the US, Australia and Europe and everywhere else thank you for your help and hard work. To our New managers, congrats on surviving a year of Tegan and Sara. To all the news outlets and magazine editors, the journalists and web sites, zines and kids at colleges all over the world, your words were very helpful and kind, so thank you. To our parents and friends, thank you for putting up with another self involved year of touring. Now you just have to get through a year of self involved writing. To John Collins and Dave Carswell thank you for taking on our project and cattapulting us into a world of rock and pop. We needed all the notes and late nights you had to give and we are so happy you agreed. You filled in our sound and we thank you for that. To Matt Sharp and Ian Browne who filled holes in our live sound when they could, thank you for your good cheer, and in matts case, coughing and shivers. To Chris Hibbins, thank you for helping us find our way to each and every show of the last 8 months. Your back might hurt and you might not get to wear your undies around like in all the other bands, but we love you all the same. Thanks for making us loud.

We promise we will be back soon, with a new record, probably new stories and most definetly different

hair. I hope all of you have a safe few months and I hope you don't forget that we appreciate you all so

very much. Thank you for allowing us to entertain you and keeping us working and happy.

We thank you again.

Tegan and Sara.
