Hey everyone,

We just finished shooting our second video for the song Monday Monday Monday. It was a lot of fun and everyone did a great job. It should be done (lots of post production to do) by the end of the month. Until then, this is a picture to make you laugh. There are going to be new pictures and a journal entry from ROB coming.

Expect tour dates anyday now and don't forget to check out the new song in AUDIO and the new video in VIDEO.

bye

So we are back from vacation in Mexico. Tegan was detained there for a few weeks so I made the best of it while waiting for her papers to come through. Not to say that getting a tan and singing carols on the beach was much to complain about, but I did feel sorry for Tegan; sleeping in a wet dark hole with only bread and water sure wasn't very "merry". We hope that all of your christmas's and/or other seasonal celebrations were safe and memorable.

Back to the grind though! We are heading out on a tour of interior BC and the west coast of the USA. To keep things interesting we are going to be adding a new video of sights and sounds from "the born in the eighties" tour. Tegan has been slaving away at editing footage that makes me look cranky and her look cool. I recorded "when you were mine" by prince at home one night. It is my first cover song ever. It will be up for you to hear very soon. Tegan has been working on some stickers and post cards and we hope to put up some of her creations for you to look at. We have a lot of time on our hands so think of these songs and designs as our arts and crafts. We have been a little lazy over the holidays so we will get writing some new journal entries and put some new pictures up over the next month. Again, we soooooooooo appreciate all of your emails, even those grumpy ones about being in seventeen magazine, and we were so grateful to have all of you come out to the shows in SEPT,OCT,and NOV. It is quite amazing to see the video footage we shot of all the fans. Tegan cried the whole time she was editing. Seriously....it is amazing to have your support and to get all your emails. We are shooting our second video for MONDAY MONDAY MONDAY at the end of January with Chris Mills. He is the mastermind behind Interpol's latest video. Check out our links page for some information on kaare andrews. He is our visual wizard. Watch for new t-shirts, stickers and postcards at our upcoming shows. One final note, check out campground effect, the robot ate me and jason yates. (Just a few of the bands who we will be supporting us in January)

SEE YOU ALL SOON!-sara
