helpful hints

Hey Everyone

Fall has fallen upon us. Where did summer go? Just this past weekend I was floating on a lake in a sweater and jean jacket and today...I was not doing that. Everyone is going back to school or settling in at work for the winter. its liberating to be doing neither...I used to hate this time of year when I was a kid as sadly I was the weird, freaky, nerd kid who cried the first few days of school in the classroom as we were given our seat assignments and locker combinations. I had some anxiety/separation issues to do with Sara and my mom and honestly I knew I was a nerd. I had bad hair and wore matching sweat pant and sweatshirt outfits too long into my teens (kidding)...but what was my mom thinking though seriously? She was totally cool and hot…why did she let us dress like that? ANYWAY...what was I telling you...oh yeah...it's back to school time...and also Tegan and Sara conquer North America time!

TOURING!!!!!

THE CON (our newest record) is now in stores and has been for a few months. You've had tons of time to memorize the lyrics and practice clapping over your heads. Most likely you've been working on your "holding a beer while whistling with one hand" moves and refreshing your memory on Tegan and Sara audience etiquette. Just the thought of all of that makes my heart swim with emotion. I've had a few weeks to reflect on our first leg of touring and just yesterday I had a pang of excitement thinking about seeing you all again so soon.

Which reminds me of why I'm writing this message (partly because Sara is on vacation and told me to).

A lot of the dates are sold out and some sold so quickly we had to add extra nights but we are done adding shows and as more of the shows are very close to selling out we thought we should email/remind you all that if you are waiting until the last minute you're going to be buying tickets at 3 times the price off EBAY or from scalpers outside the venue...so...a heads up to fans in :

Seattle

These shows are days from selling out...get your tickets ASAP...for those of you that live in Calgary or Edmonton and are sad to not be seeing our show as they are sold out already...there are TONS of tickets for the Red Deer show..ha..so...come on down!!!

Don't forget that there are shows all over Canada, the US and Australia! So check out the concert listings and start plotting a map to the nearest city to you.
