Hello everyone, this is Ted the keyboard/guitar player. I joined the band 8 months ago and now I feel like I'm ready for a journal entry. You see, in my life before t+s I couldn't read, write or add simple numbers together. I would just sit on a bed of pillows and be catered to all day. But in the last 8 months I've become a totally different person. Going through a change like that takes a lot of work, and that generally includes everyone around you as well. Countless nights I remember staying up late with Rob and he would teach me words like "apple" and "banana". Rob is going to be a primeatologist (that's someone who works with primates like gorillas or monkeys) so he is naturally very smart. One night on the last tour with the killers the whole gang of us were up talking and laughing of times past and Rob decided to put on the award winning movie "gorillas in the mist" with Sigourney Weaver. It wasn't long after the movie started that we became emotional. Sara and Emy cried hysterically while Tegan tried to act tough and keep it together, Chris on the other hand pretended to sleep in his bunk through the whole thing, but I'm pretty sure he was secretly in the room. As for me... well I couldn't understand what they were saying so the movie just looked like a bunch of gorillas hanging out with a mediocre actor. Anyway as you can tell I still have a long way to go with my education and I really just wanted to say hello to everyone finally. I promise to bring you more updates and tell you new words that I shall learn on the next tour.
