So today was a beautiful day here in Vancouver. The last few days have been so great. I cannot believe I live somewhere that is so green all the time. I have been trying to write lots because I want this album to be very strong and very good. I had a meeting with all those boys in the picture that was on the news page, something I will talk more about later, and it was a great time. We are going to use John Collins and David Carswell on this record again. We have also met with Howard Reddekopp who mixed the New Pornographers record and many others to do our record as well. We had a big meeting with our managers with tea, black coffee and homemade bannana bread with chocolate chips and things went really well. Sara is going to be moving here in less then two weeks. I found her an apartment not far from me and I think that she will really like it. It is in a nice building and in a really good area close to our studio and recording space.
I think she is excited even though when I talk to her she is grumpy and busy. She has so many good songs and I feel like I need to write so many more. I cannot wait to play on her songs. They are so fucking weird and good and different and hard and sad and I read somewhere that she wants to do a more mellow record but it sounds like it is going to be even more than last time. More of what I don't know yet.
I have had a lot of free time, which I am not used to, so I started updating the site more often. We don't have any shows, we are on vacation so I don't have any new pictures or tour dates and there is really no new news so I have gotten a lot of quotes and have been making artwork to go with it and will continue to put them up at my own leisure. It has been really funny to get peoples responses from reading them. My mom wasn't mad and she didn't threaten to go to the media she actually said she was going to go to our other fan sites and give them a different quote. I thought that was really funny.
Well, I have to go now.
