Another email we received recently:

hey-ho there, this is andy irwin (captain). i understand you probably get a thousand emails every day and never read all of them due to the time factor, but if you read this that is great. i saw your show in edmonton at the dimwitty lounge, i missed your last show at the sidetrack 'cause i was sick from food poisoning from cuba. anyways, i was in an accident at work on the second of october and lost half my thumb and second degree burns on the back of my hand, i had to get a skin graf on the 24 of oct and had lots of drugs and was very " out of it" for the longest time. i laid in bed from the second of oct till the 8th of nov. the only reason i went out last night was to see your show. it was amazing, you guys are so talented, as i am sure you already know. i felt very shitty and weak, i ended up puking outside the show cause it was the first day i went out save the hospital but i never had to walk that far, always had a wheelchair and surely haven't stood for more than 30 seconds to pee or get "checked out" by the doctor. the reason i said that was to let you know how much you inspire me and my band, though we play punk and heavy metal, you guys urge me to play cause you seem like you have so much fun performing. i love your music and your personalities are so very unique. hope to see you back in edmonton soon. and can't wait for your next album. hope to hear from you soon. if some other person answers your emails please don't email me back only if you, tegan or sara answers them . i love you girls. so talented and beautiful.
